I just wanted to provide some feedback on the wine tour my husband & I went on last Saturday – we had an absolutely wonderful time! The tour was fantastic and all the wineries we visited had great hosts & the wines produced were great. We also loved the visit to the Smelly cheese & chocolate shops. Our tour bus driver Kerry was also excellent and led us on a successful day! We will definitely be doing another tour sometime soon and will recommend this company to all of our friends.

Just wanted to say thanks for a great day on Saturday. Your commentary throughout the day was great, and your choice of wineries and venue for lunch was perfect. We all thoroughly enjoyed your tour.

James Myles of James' Hunter Valley Wine and Vineyard Tours (www. vineyardtours.com.au) gave us a most excellent "Exclusively Yours" tour today. In a most comfortable Toyota Landcruiser with four of us on board he took us to four fine boutiques type wineyards (including Molly's Cradle and Sandalyn's) where we sampled the full range of Hunter Valley wines. His knowledge of both the wines and the vineyards (and owners) - generally in the area and specifically with the vineyards visited - made for a most interesting experience and gave us all a far greater insight to the wine business in the area than we could possible have achieved by 'going it alone'. His easy approach and good sense of humour further enhanced the experience. Prior to the visit he also guided us to a most excellent B&B - The Carriages Country House - for which we were grateful. All in all an excellent day and we would be more than happy to recommend James if you are thinking about a visit to the Hunter Valley. David and Christian

Just wanted to recommend James' Hunter Valley Wine Tour... we had a great day. James himself was our tour guide--he knew a lot about wine, the wine-making process, and the region, including lots of fun local history and gossip. He picked us up precisely on time from our hotel and we were off in a van along with five other couples. We visited four vineyards/wineries (Iron Gate, Sandalyn, Savannah Estates, and one other whose name I forget), plus the Smelly Cheese Shop and the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company. We loved the wine at Sandalyn and the delightful pourer, Rita, at Savannah Estates (plus we loved their port).
For lunch we were on our own in the Hunter Valley Gardens shopping center; the choices weren't inspiring, but I see why James chose that location since there were several options and people could choose what they preferred.
Overall, we had a great time and tasted some great wine. The tour was great value compared to comparable options, as well. Thanks, James!

We had Adrian take us around the vineyards and it was fantastic. He said he would pick us up at a certain time and he was there, he was friendly, knew alot about the area and always helpful. The first winery we went to was Iron Gate - and as other reviews state it was their favourite and I have to agree, Another good thing was the other people on the bus - they were all very friendly and everyone had a great time!!

Just a note to say thanks for a lovely day of wineries on 3 April. We all had a fantastic time, Adrian was a wonderful host and very knowledgable about the area.
This was the fourth Hunter winery tour Kurt & I have been on and we were really impressed that there were no duplications of previous wineries. Our agreed highlight of the day was the Iron Gate Winery where we met the owner & took a tour of the production area.
We will definately recommend your tour to family & friends in future.

My dad & I did a Hunter Valley Wine Tour with James earlier this month. This tour comes highly recommended. We travelled through the region slightly out of the peak season and as such, were part of a small full day tour (just 4 of us on that particular day although I think the max number per group is 12)
Visited 5 small/boutique wineries as well as a chocolate shop & cheese/deli - for chocolate & cheese tasting - welcome relief after 5 wineries!
We had a fantastic day out & found James to be very friendly, helpful & knowledable about the area & also about the wine making process etc. He also helped us by recommending great local accomodation and restaurants. At less than $50 each for a full day tour, we also thought it was excellent value for money at less than half the price we've paid for similar tours elsewhere

I would just like to thank you for a great day the wine tour wasfantastic. Our friends from Sweden have not stopped emailing since they got home. We all had such a good time made that much better by yourself, thankyou again we will pass your name on to friends and family and we will be back soon,
