About: Hunter Valley Wine and Vineyard Tours
James' Hunter Valley Wine and Vineyard Tours is operated by James Myles who traded his stressful travel management company in London UK, in early 2001, for the quiet of the Hunter Valley NSW, just north of Sydney on Australia's East Coast. James and his wife Adrienne built and operated Halcyon Hills Guest House in Broke until mid 2005 when James decided to give up his role as "Basil Fawlty" and show visitors this wonderful region through his eyes. Not only are there great wines but the scenery is stunning and different as you turn each corner.
Over the past five years James has come to know the undiscovered parts of the Hunter Valley stretching from Lovedale and Mount View, through Pokolbin to Broke. Over this time James has developed friendships amongst the winemakers and vineyard owners and gained an intimate knowledge of their wines. You are invited to share this friendship with private wine tastings at a number of vineyards. You may even want to wander with the owner amongst the vines to get a great feel for their passion for creating great wines.
During a wine tour with Hunter Valley Wine and Vineyard Tours you will also be introduced to great olive products for which the Hunter Valley region is becoming well known.
